John Carver celebrated his first match in permanent charge of Newcastle with a comfortable victory at relegation-threatened Hull.
Five days after being appointed until the end of the season, Carver’s side managed something they had failed to do under him in caretaker capacity as Hull’s defensive vulnerability was clinically exposed on three occasions.
