Vikings star Adrian Peterson free to play in NFL after judge lifts suspension

Running back, who was indicted on felony abuse charges but agreed a deal with prosecutors, now eligible to re-sign with Minnesota or be traded to another club

Adrian Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings running back suspended last year after he admitted beating his young son with a switch, is free to play again after the NFL Players Association succeeded in its bid to have his suspension vacated.
