He’s 100%. It’s a bit nerve-wracking when you’ve got a week and five days to go, you just hope everything goes smoothly and at the moment it is. Not everybody was very impressed [by his win at Haydock last time] but I don’t think it was probably too bad. It was terrible ground, he was following a horse that was jumping to the right, but when [the trainer’s son] Sam [Twiston-Davies] asked him to quicken, he was hating every bit of it and it took him some time, but then away he went, same as always. Everyone seems to love knocking the horse, but it probably wasn’t that bad. He’s been powering up the gallops and he’s very well in himself. This is the race for him, it’s a long year [since last year’s disappointment] and it’s all you’re thinking about. It’s seen as a two-horse race [Faugheen] but Jezki and Hurricane Fly have done nothing wrong. It should really be four co-favourites.
