Perth Scorchers end Sydney Sixers' unbeaten run in low-scoring duel


  • Perth Scorchers 135-7 beat Sydney Sixers 99 by 36 runs

Sydney Sixers had the gun paceman, but it was the Perth Scorchers’ unheralded quicks who fired the decisive shots in Monday’s Big Bash League T20 cricket clash at the SCG.


Renowned for successfully defending low-scoring totals, Perth were restricted to 7-135 and then bowled the previously unbeaten Sixers out for 99 in the 18th over.
